Idea & Design
The design of this dress was inspired by one of my own paintings, which was inspired by a unicorn doll that I hand-sewn.
I used the shapes and colors from the painting, along with various buttons, to re-collage a piece of fabric as the skirt.
Interview
Later, I had the opportunity to be interviewed by the local Chinese media in Vancouver, and I was fortunate enough to wear this dress for the interview.
